“Moomba is Here!” (11″ x 14″, pen and ink and stuff)
This Atlas-era goofball was introduced in the story, "The Unbelievable Menace of Moomba” from Tales to Astonish #23, published in 1961. Moomba was another dashed-off monster-on-the-loose creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, with the assistance of Dick Ayers (inks) and possibly/probably Larry Lieber (who scripted a lot of these monster comics off Lee’s plots).
Moomba was an alien who came from a world where the creatures were made of living wood and he had an army of wooden sleeper statues that he awakened to conquer Earth for some reason and omg what a bunch of horse-hockey, and omg do I love these stupid comics that are all basically the same except for the name of the ridiculous monster that has to be destroyed or dispelled by humanity, or at least a scientist and the military and a few frightened onlookers wearing poorly-colored mid-1950′s fashions.
Moomba gets his ass kicked off the planet and all is well at the end, rest assured. Once again, Earth is safe -- at least until the Abominable Snowman and the Creature From Krogarr, etc etc, et al, show up...
