I don't have a whole lot of complaints about the Legend of Korra, but why did Aang push away his other children when he trained Tenzin? Like, yeah, he's an airbender, but??? His other non-airbending children are just as much air nomad as Tenzin. All three of his children are half air nomad half, water tribe. They have just as much right to know about their culture and its history. There's possibility that their children could be airbenders (at least, I would assume). What are they supposed to do? Have no knowledge to pass on? Just send 'em to Tenzin? What happens when Tenzin kicks it? What if he died at a young age some time after Aang passed? What the fuck are they supposed to do? Let the air nomad culture just die with the airbenders?? Am I also supposed to believe that Katara only trained Kiya with water tribe knowledge? That Bumi was essentially told "fuck you" by both of his parents for not being a bender at all? With Sokka around?? Are you going to tell me, AANG, the victim of genocide, wouldn't pass that knowledge to ALL of his children regardless of their bending abilities?
