WELCOME TO PORT HAVEN, NEW HAVEN
Port Haven, New York is a charming town with a population of 81,394. Port Haven is best known for having one of the largest and most talented trauma units in all of New York. A spot at Port Haven’s Mercy General means being the best of the best. The doctors that work there have been recruited from all over the face of the earth. While they come from near and far there are also a lot of talented doctors from Port Haven itself.
While Port Haven is bustling with people just trying to make it through the day. It, like most towns in America, has its own DARK SECRETS. Port Haven’s crime rates run high due to the two criminal organizations that the local police haven’t been able to eliminate. The Cassarino and the Lucchese family have been rivals for decades and while both families have been taken over by their second in commands due to the untimely deaths of their leaders - their hatred runs deeper than ever.
Now you just have to decide if you’re going to be saving the day or running from the law.
This is a group verse town set in the fictional town of Port Haven and surrounded by a lot of angst, blood, and drama. Here at Port Haven, we strive to be a welcoming roleplay environment where we hope that all our writers develop and push themselves (and one another off cliffs). There will be small plot drops to encourage writing, but we encourage plotting amongst yourselves in the discord server!
The Moretti Family- Run drugs, arms, and currently own the docks. They originally ran Port Haven until the Zaccaro came into town and challenged their authority. Slowly they’ve pushed into their territory and made it clear that a war is coming. The Moretti’s are known for being a very ruthless organization and its surprising that they have not retaliated against the death of their leader.
The Zaccaro Family - Came to Port Haven on a whim after the head of the family suggested opening a Hotel/Casino in town. It has been a risk but one that has paid off greatly. The death of their boss, however, has them struggling. They have yet to pick a new second in command and are considering dabbling in running guns and drugs. The drugs would increase tension between the already rivaling families but what else do
IC drama is allowed, but not OOC. I feel like we can all be adults.
As much as this is a crime based GV, I’d like us to focus heavily on the medical and law side of things as well! (maybe your character is a doctor being blackmailed.) That being said all occupations are welcome.
The Gossip Blog is a character that can be applied for and if we talk about it you can run the blog with/for me.
Once accepted an admin will IM you the link to the discord server, track the tag, and write a short bio.
Duplicate FCs are allowed but must be approved by the first face claim.
This group verse is open to Canon and OC characters from any verse.
Bios Required - before you write them; if you want to plot things out with other characters please feel free to do so, but that is not required.
Your character can be neutral, the law, or a member of one of the two warring mobs.
Be as active as you want! I’m really just in this to join a bunch of us together and enjoy a good time! I’m not crazy about enforcing activity I just ask that we all put in our best effort!
