Hey there, new followers! I suppose it's time to introduce myself. You already know how I'm feeling, but how's about I talk more about myself outside of all of this? . . . So, hey buddies, I'm Danielle! I'm the sole owner of Soap Distillery, a company that creates cocktail themed bath and body care! I'm a Detroit native and I've lived in Chicago since 2002 when I went to Art School here. I started Soap Distillery back in 2012 for many reasons: 1. I was bored of the soap options at my local store. 2. I needed a creative outlet. 3. I didn't see much representation from people of color within the maker world (there are many reasons for this, and things are getting better!). So here I am, years later, with a small team of badasses just cranking away at your orders and making things from scratch. . . Today was supposed to be the release of our summer line, however, we are pushing this back to Wednesday to give ourselves some time to collect ourselves. Even through everything that is happening, I'm still so excited to share these products with you!
