Sorry to bother you (I did want to praise your Hanbrough fic), but I was wondering what you thought of Bill's relationship with Susan Browne. I was trying to figure out if King was suggesting that Bill slept with her while he was with Audra (like if that was to set up his later encounter with Beverly). Anyway, I wish we'd gotten a bit more of their dynamics. If I ever write more fic I'd probably try to include her in movie Bill's life somehow.
Oh, he definitely didn’t sleep with her while with Audra! She was his book agent when he was 18/19 or so. When he left New England (or escaped, rather, since IT was still haunting his subconscious at this time), she never saw him again. Actually, the relationship they had is questionable since he was a teenager when she took his virginity and she regarded him as a kid.
