How have you been managing sobriety while pregnant? Don't have to answer if you feel like this question is too personal!
It's alright. Sometimes its difficult when my PTSD is bad or when I'm in a lot of pain. I get through it via a lot of complaining. Sometimes I'll vent about how I wanna smoke or whatever, and my boyfriend tells me no, which helps.
I don't have a lot longer to go, but I've been managing to stay sober.
A few weeks ago, I did buy a new pipe so I could get rid of the gross old one I got with my ex. I haven't used it yet, obviously, but I look forward to being able to.
I've been thinking a lot about how I'll be going about consuming weed in the future as responsibly as possible (keeping it in a safe location, wearing separate clothes for ths smoke, etc). I'm really looking forward to finally having some proper pain relief and relaxation in the future.
I wish that I could safely smoke already, but I don't want to risk it. I imagine once I'm out of the hospital, and take that first edible or hit or whatever I end up doing; I'll end up stoned on the couch with my newborn in marvel of his existence lol
I still haven't smoked since, like November or whatever, but I ordered a new pipe online cause once I am able to smoke again, I don't want to use that shitty old ugly pipe I had when I was with my ex. Not gonna use it until the baby is out, buy it'll be something to look forward to. Its a cute glass pipe with little bees on it :)
Born to get wildly drunk and ruin someone’s life. Forced to be sober and respectful.
Love trying to get cishet conservatives to understand that just because nonbinary people are included in something does not mean they themselves are excluded. Calm down.
Anyone else ever feel mere inches away from piercing your nose, shaving the side of your head, dying your hair and adopting the punk aesthetic because boy oh boy
Dear self: wag ipilit :)
I think this is the first time in months I’m making a sober post on here so thats fun.
I just had a thought; Sometimes I wish I could go back to a time when sex and deep feelings were unknown to me. Like in middle school when all I’d done was kiss a boy and thats all I planned on doing for a long time. When I thought I knew what love was. When I thought I knew what I needed from a partner based off a quiz in a magazine. When matters regarding the heart were simple.
Well, simpler.
Now sex and lust has turned everything around and now it’s hard to ask for what you want and it’s even harder to know the difference between what you want and what you need.
In some ways I’m happy that I’m not a kid anymore. But in most ways I’m not.
