talking with my mother about movies/the box office is INFURIATING. she has no idea what she’s talking about and then she tries to tell me that i don’t know what i’m talking about and the she always tells me i have bad taste in movies and asdhgfjgkf;

oh i feel you. my mum is even worse, she doesn't care about what she's watching, she doesn't remember the tv show's name or the characters or anything... i don't know how people can watch a movie or whatever like that. to me, everything is sacred, i need to check everything out on the imdb and tv tropes or i feel incomplete...
