I weigh approximately 62.00 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Aug 19, 2021 Shelter plea: We have a little sweet girl in need of rescue. Looks like she may have had a chronic ear issue that wasn’t taken care of leaving a mess for her to live with. Poor girl, it’s past the point of healing & the vet is advising that she will need a total ear ablation. We have her medical notes below. Because she does have a medical issue, she will need to be pulled by 3 pm, Saturday, September 11th. She showed no aggression with the other dogs at all & she showed absolutely no aggression with me when I took her out to the yard…. Even when I touched & looked in her ears. She’s a sweetie❤️ 👉 SWIPE RIGHT FOR TEMP TEST VIDEO (she passed)👉 Medical notes: 08/20/21 09:28 ears cleaned, sweet girl..sms 8/19/21 AU chronic otitis externa+++. Both canals have proliferative tissue and completely stenotic canals. ACT: ear clean AU Rx: motazol- apply AU SID x7d Rx: cephalexin- 500mg- 1 PO BID x10d Rx: carprofen- 100mg- 1/2 PO BID x10d Recommend rescue as dog will likely need a TECA (total ear canal ablation) as the stenotic tissue likely will not resolve. They have more dogs that will be coming in due to dogs running away from the noise of the fireworks. The 4th is one of the highest intake times of the year and there isn’t enough kennel space.
