TST- Twenty statement test.

It is an instrument used to measure self concept.

Usually there’s a similar pattern to people’s responses to this test.

In the first five to six sentences, people tend to write about their social self, like [I am so-and-so’s son] or [I go to such and such school or company]

These are social aspects of who you are, which anyone can find out.

However, as people write more sentences. Their inner self starts to be revealed. People usually start to write about how they’re feeling at the moment and begin to show what they consider important and after the tenth sentence often people will start to uncover what they subconsciously desire or things that even they themselves are not aware that they’re concerned about.

Because as they think about what to write after the word “I” they start to look deeper into themselves.

lol I was reading my textbook about REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) n there’s a part abt social factors in thinking irrationally n i thought to myself “this guy is a libra” n then I looked up Albert Ellis n he was born Setp 27 ! A whole therapy constructed partially arnd a libra’s social perception of self. Astrology is truly everywhere. Once u see it, it’s hard not to see it haha !
