Come on American people.

There are millions of people in the world just like you and I in nice places like Switzerland and Sweden. They enjoy high standards of living and freedom, and they’re socialists. Studies show they’re actually happier than we are, and that’s not surprising, because the only difference between American socialism and European socialism is European socialism works. For their tax dollars Europeans get full health care coverage, generous pensions, daycare, long paid vacations, maternity leave, free college, and public transportation that doesn’t smell like pee. To think these things are inherently bad means that you are an irrational patriot...or to put it another way, a patriot. So many Americans are afraid of socialism. Most Americans do not even know what socialism is. They just know that it is something that should be feared and booed because that is what Fox news and Rush Limbaugh say. Yet we have things like medicare, unemployment, social security, corporate welfare, bailouts, and farm subsidies. America what you really mean to say to socialism is "We can't live without you."

Okay, let's get some shit straight.

Capitalism: An economic system consisting of  Free Enterprise and Classical Economics based on Adam Smith's Model. Laissez-faire. 

Socialism: An economic system based on complete government control and regulation of the economy. Support falls back on Marxist economic theories.

Communism: An eco-political system that consists of a socialist economy and a dictatorship for a political system.

Fascism: An eco-political system that consists of a capitalist economy and a dictatorship for a political system.

Socialist Democracy: A Democracy in which socially responsible capitalism is practiced. Or, Capitalism whose profits benefit the community and return to the consumer base, not to CEO's salaries.
