So today tried to do pet project

A week ago I emailed the school's sos club which does random volunteer work. I signed up for the pet project which is helping out at an animal shelter and they said the orientation person would not be there this week so to wait for the next week, so I did, today I and a rather large group of newbies went to the shelter and guess what. Orientation lady wasn't there this week either! And that meant a whole room full of people couldn't do jack shit for about two hours! At lest I think I made a new friend which lessened the pain of time wasted. I wanted to try to be more social so I decided that I would try to talk to who ever sat next to me on the bus ride but on both the ride to and from the shelter no one sat next to me. Social win and fail on the same day, with the same event (the girl who I may have friended sat with someone else )
