"Soifon, why have you removed our cameras from the Maggots Nest? And don't tell me you found a better supplier, because I know that's a lie."
"Because the Nest is a secured location that's under my jurisdiction—" Ignoring the fact he had to breach said security to install the camera's in the first place, "—and I did not approve the installation of any camera's in it."
There was no real way to tell what those poor Souls in the Maggot's Nest could do, that's why they were in the Nest to begin with. If they saw an opportunity to influence the outside or get outside, they'd take it. There was a reason the Nest was maintained solely by its' Warden.
On the front porch of the Urahara shop lies a cardboard box with many holes in it, with "from Kurotsuchi" crudely written on the side in some sort of permanent marker. Inside it is a guinea pig cage. Inside of *that* is, along with other, more typical finds for such a cage, is a guinsa pig with a partial hollow mask, reminiscent of an Espada, and a note that reads, "Didn't know what to do with this after I was done, and figured you would appreciate it. Happy holidays, Mayuri."

“Oh.”
It was this simple, short syllable that escaped the shopkeeper’s lips upon opening the box and beholding the small beast. Well – it had to be said that he was starting to amass quite the menagerie of natural and artificial bodies infused with various types of souls. And wasn’t this was how it tended to go with gift-giving? Once a person gained a reputation as a collector – well. Everyone knew what to get you.
At least – it could also be said that he had enough room to accommodate them all. And he was certain he could provide a more pleasant home for the hapless creature than its previous owner — who had been so uncharacteristically generous with this gesture that Kisuke resolved to maintain a watchful eye over it, nonetheless.
“Jinta? Ururu?” he called, carefully closing the box to protect its secret, and gently lifting it to bring it inside. “I’ve got a Christmas surprise for you! Want to see what’s even better than a new puppy?”

@sexy-shark
How attractive are you from 1-100?
"Normally I appreciate such comments, as they are very rarely directed towards me, unless out of fear... this is... well, it just feels fake."
@sociopath-scientist
"I'd suggest a lot of them. Yoruichi likes to eat a LOT." voice coming from nowhere and seemingly reading her mind.
“Hn, That’s not exactly what I was—” Wait.
The Captain quickly fumbled out of her chair. What the- Brows scrunched taut as she surveyed every inch of her desk now. Where did that voice just come from?!

"... Oh, since we're talking about fashion now," he responds vindictively, "does that kimono smell any? I imagine it smells like old socks and drool."
“And what exactly are you trying to get at with that comment, Kurotsuchi...?” Naturally, she had an idea but, she’d give him this last chance to change his tune.
Roses are red (though you could make them blue ~ How you modify them, I'll leave up to you!) 💚 Roses are red, and my memory's hazy -- But last I recall, you resembled a daisy?
"Quite romantic, Urahara. But I'd prefer you stay with the cat. And I'm sure she would too."
