a crack adjacent jubilation fix-it that fixes nothing

jubilation au. adrien visits the arts/crafts shop where socqueline works. he's surprised to see her, because he thinks she looks a lot like marinette, but soon realises it's not her. socqueline notices his confusion and asks him, and he says he goes to school with someone who looks like her. she asks which school, and he says françoise dupont.
socqueline lights up - "marinette, right?" he nods, a little taken aback, but happy to meet a friend of marinette's. socqueline starts to talk about her in obviously romantic terms. "she's gorgeous, isn't she?" she says, chin resting in her hands, staring into soace. "i wish i still went there. maybe i could've gone to her class."
"marinette is, um, pretty cool," says adrien, a little surprised. not much, though, because very little about marinette can surprise him at this point. socqueline keeps praising her for a while, as adrien browses for what he needs. when he buys the pen he needs and she takes out the alliance, he asks ger about it - he doesn't want one himself, but he's curious how it feels to use it. she lends it to him for a bit, just as the t-rexes appear. he runs out the door to stop them. gabriel gets a notification afterwards - and realises cat noir must be a customer at the store where socqueline works. security cam footage shows adrien entering and leaving. he has his target.
in the store, though, adrien messes up when he hands the alliance back. he gives her plagg instead. so when monarch sends out darkest owl to catch adrien, ladybug shows up with... someone who looks like lady noire. they get hit with jubilation, and live through socqueline's dream (where she marries specifically marinette). ladybug struggles to bring herself to end it. but they wake up and smash the akuma, and ladybug and socquicat have a very awkward discussion about what just happened in the dream. ladybug says maybe talk to the girl about it, and flies away blushing.
gabriel decides adrien can't be cat noir, thinking this must have been a decoy. socqueline, though, hands adrien back the ring with a wink and says "i know, but i won't tell. keep up the good work! also, tell marinette that i'm thinking about her." then she runs off. and marinette sits down in her bedroom and breathes deep and is like, yeah. yeah i think i just got turnt
