A little of this, a little of that...
So it's been just over a year since my involuntary hiatus from the hobby, BJDs have been the last thing on my mind over the past 1-2 years. But that is about to change. My life is finally stable again. I have a full time job, a salary, a permanent place to live and my mom's situation has, for the sake of summarizing, stabilized as well.
I'm happy, finally. After a year of grinding through the harsh reality that is my mother's (extremely aggressive) dementia, which left me displaced and while I was in school full time with only part time employment as a cherry on top. I have no family in the city, and most of my friends are international, which is... In hindsight, an error on my part.
Finally, my life has begun to iron itself out. I've been in therapy for 3+ years now, which I owe a lot of these results to. Sure, I did a lot of the work myself in therapy, but I do owe my therapist a lot. But back to the good news! I have a salaried job finally, with a pension, annual raises and benefits! As well I also just moved into a bigger and permanent apartment. I have SPACE. So MUCH space! I already pulled the dolls out. It's been a nice little reward after the absolute hellscape the past 2 years have tossed my way.
I absolutely have no one complete, shocker.

Doing a GO/Split with my dear friend Adelle for a nYID body ( and them a Bliss head <3 )
Aeron is next for a faceup, and with her I'll be sending off Magaidh (Maggie) to Angel Toast after these are both paid off. It's like a reward.
Eyes and clothes are the next buy. I have a rough idea of what I'll be order from ACBJD and Jiaoba98 ( my carts are full, lemmi tell you! )
Maybe a Fooyume body. Depending on when they go up for preorder.
This is what I'm limited myself to for now. No new dolls. I MUST finish someone. I've been claiming to get people painting/finished for literal years and yet, here I am, only a step closer to the end goal.
Bodies come after these are ordered. En mass. I have SO many heads.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, I'll try to actually post here more often. I just wish this was an App, as I haven't taken doll photos in over a decade and being on the computer gives me the itch to dig out my camera again.
