So I decided to see how Lucifer would age over the years and made myself sad with headcanons. A well spent day if you ask me. Explanations or something are under the cut cause I got carried away.
5 years old - Lucifer was a bratty kid who acted tough but was more likely to cry than throw a punch. With his father constantly away because of work, Lucifer was all his mother had and as a result, Lucifer had her wrapped around his finger from an early age. He usually got what he wanted and at school, he bullied other kids and cried when the teachers told him off. He didn't have many friends at this age which meant by the time he was going into high school, he had few social skills and wasn't good at talking to people. His parents divorced when he was 8 and he hasn't seen his dad since. Lucifer and his mother moved to America when he was 9 so she could meet up with a guy she met online, who she later got married to.
13 years old - Lucifer dreaded going to high school and for good reason. By this point, his lack of friends, social skills and bulk had made him a prime target for bullies. He eventually got annoyed by their constant harassment and started to fight back. One particular fight resulted in one of the bullies breaking his nose and by that point, the teachers advised his mother to move him to a different school. Lucifer's new stepfather, Rick insisted he go to a private school and Lucifer decided this was a good opportunity to start fresh. He got in with the popular crowd early on although they kept him around more for amusement than because they liked him. They particularly liked getting him drunk and getting him to do stupid shit. He started falling out with his parents when he was 15 and was getting drunk almost every weekend by 16. He shattered his kneecaps just before he turned 16 and spent his birthday in hospital.
17 years old - By this age, his rebellious streak was in full swing, spurred on by the popular, reckless kids he hung out with. He argued with his stepfather about everything and did everything he could think of to piss him off further. Teachers had given up on him as he rarely turned up for class, choosing to get drunk at one of his mates houses instead. He slept with a lot of people in this stage and got in trouble with the law a few times. One morning, he woke up with glowing blue tattoos all over his body and his stepfather threatened to throw him out on the street before his mother intervened and they agreed to give him one last chance. While he tried to clean up his act and even managed to get a part time job, he still got drunk a lot. One night of driving under the influence got him thrown out on the streets for good and his job had gained him barely enough money to start renting an apartment on the outskirts of the city.
25 years old - Since he’s currently 20, I haven’t decided how his life will turn out yet. Either it turns out really well and he sorts himself out, or it goes completely downhill and he turns to stealing and probably ends up in jail for a bit. I’m not sure which outcome I prefer.
My counterpart to glitched-hotspot‘s zodiac mythical creatures. Jared is a pisces which was a mermaid for this one and “their hair is flowing water and their words come out as dark matter” for this one.
I have never been more glad that pisces gets all the fish related stuff cause mermaids are kinda my thing. (that’s totally dark matter okay)
