Claustrophobic [AU] (Socks x Reader)
WARNINGS : PANIC ATTACK

You run towards the elevator .. Ooooh god .. I'm going to be late for my interview.. You thought as you ran towards the stairs .. You stopped for a second .. Using the stairs is not exactly a good idea since its going to take a while to reach 4th floor where your interview was .. You really need this job .. And for that you can't be late AND be all sweaty once you reach the interview room .. You were running late since you missed the bus cuz your amazing self refused to wake up .. You sigh internally as you look towards the elevator..
You're claustrophobic.. Meaning that you're afraid of small spaces .. You sorta feel like you're squished and squashed whenever you're in a small room or something like that .. So you try your best to avoid elevators because you've watched waaay too much movies to know that , Elevators ? They're MADE to break down in the middle of a trip .. And with your luck , It's no doubt going to happen .. But you literally have no choice but to use the elevator .. So you eventually get in .. You haven't seen THAT many elevator failures in real life .. So maybe it'll all be fine ?
The doors were just about to close as someone's voice echoes .. "HOLD UP" You press the open button in panic .. Then a figure came running towards you and gets in the elevator.. The "figure" turned out to be a pretty average man .. He looked like a brunette .. You still cant see his face due to the fact that he was trying to catch his breath .. After a while he says "Thank you for that .. I can't miss my meeting" looking up .. You finally see him .. He has mesmerising brown eyes and a barely visible beard.. You kept on looking at him as he smiles .. "I'm Socks.. Nice to meet you" He says extending his hand towards you.. "(Y/N) .. Nice too meet you as well" You say while smiling .. Then the elevator starts moving .. You were fine for the most part .. You saw from the corner of your eyes , Socks was rearranging some of his files .. You were almost at the next floor when you heard some screeching sound .. Socks looks up confused as you feel your heartbeat increase ..
Of course the elevators stuck .. Why did you take the elevator in the first place ? Damn the interview.. You should have taken the stairs .. Now you're stuck in here for god knows how long ..
You stopped thinking for a second as you heard a voice .. "Huh .. Weird .. I'll call the technician team .. They'll check this thing out .." Socks says as he offers you a smile .. You smile weakly before going to the corner of the elevator and sitting down..
Wasn't the elevator soo much bigger before ? How did it shrink so fast ..
You heard Socks' footsteps around the elevator and heard him talking with someone .. The elevator walls feel like they're closing in on you as you curl up into a ball .. Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder .. "Hey (Y/N) ? You alright ?" You hear Socks say as he crouches down to your height .. You shake your head .. "Claustrophobic ?" He asks you.. You nod a little .. "Oh .. Uh , I'm going to call someone and they're going to be able to help you alright ? Just take a deep breath for me .. " He says in comforting words as you feel arms around your shoulders in a gentle grip .. You follow his instructions and take deep breaths ..
You hear him calling someone .. You didn't focus but you hear bits and pieces.. Your ears were blocked by the sound of your own heart .. "Mem- person- stu- elevator- should- do-" You then hear his phone being placed on the ground .. "Hey (Y/N) .. I called the company and they're already sending some people to check on the elevator.. Its not going to take long .. I called my friend too .. They said that you're going to be alright as long as you breath .. Just relax and breath .. Nothings going to happen .. You're safe with me" He says in a whisper and you suddenly felt yourself pulled towards the voice .. And soon you felt warmth wrap you up like a blanket .. You feel a little bit better and you did as you were told .. You eventually feel a lot better once you relax ..
"I got you (Y/N) .. Nothings going to happen to you .."
