spike's kind of like buffy's cigarette
something really cute that i remember from my first watch through is in the episode help buffy tries to get spike to help cassie but spike is still weepy and delusional, still feeling guilty about hurting buffy "i hurt the girl" but then later he shows up to help cassie and i think maybe it's because of the way jm delivers the line but it's really sweet he says "no one hurts the girl!" which is adorable
anyways i think in particular this is a bit of a turning point for spike (even though he still had a ways to go) especially because cassie tells him that one day "she'll tell you" which definitely means one day buffy will tell him she loves him, and then he doesn't believe her but thats a whole other thing. this episode definitely creates a foundation of spike getting better through his and buffy's little potential training school. or not idk i just kind of wanted to remind you guys of "no one hurts the girl!" because i kind of cheered when i watched that for the first time
here's a what not to say to the woman you love the morning after you hook up for the first time, for a lovely, lovely mr. spike btvs:
1. i knew the only thing better than killing a slayer was f[ucking one].
that's not gonna earn you brownie points i fear
the last thing alex rousseau from lost and the vampire claudia from iwtv saw on earth was their fathers betraying them and letting them die and it was the first time in a long time that they actually looked at them like a child looking to their father for help send tweet
i dont think im wife material but i think im insane ex girlfriend material. like someone one day is going to say hey i dated a girl once who wrote a play where her self insert character made out with her clone upon seeing her
three of many things that have saved my life
1. buffy summers
2. orange juice topped with sparkling water
3. the movie theatre
abba is lowkey the shakespeare of music groups in the sense that their music is for the masses. i love that. i was listening to the winner takes it all and fuck dude that song is so good?? it can honestly apply to so many situations beyond a break up and most of abba music tends to do that thats why mamma mia is such a huge awesome musical because abba music is so versatile. the winner takes it all might be their hamlet and mamma mia is their midsummer nights dream. i dont trust anyone who doesn't like abba like to each their own but damn you cant vibe to at least one abba song? geez louise
next 24h are going to be a nightmare so you know what fuck it im watching ANOTHER buffy episode. then reading for class
