Knud Odde (65 today) is a Danish musician, songwriter and artist.

After many years as bassist in the punk bank Sods, and its post-punk incarnation Sort Sol, where he also wrote songs, he quit the band in 2001.

He still records and releases music, but mainly he has grown into a significant artist. He is a member of the artists’ association Decembristerne.

Stray Sod is a plant-like creature found in France and Ireland. Stray Sods are described as a creature with grass growing on its back. Some people believe that Stray Sod is grass that was enchanted by magic or Fairies while some believe Stray Sods are actually Fairies themselves and others believe that they form on the graves of unbaptized children. If a person steps on a Stray Sod at night they will immediately lose their way no matter how good their sense of direction is. In the morning however they will realize where they are. If you know for a fact you stepped on a Stray Sod turn your coat inside out, use metal that wards off Fairies, or find certain plants and you will be able to find your way to your destination.
