Creative?! Okay!
The real assignment is to write a story about two people that clash in some way or form.
"--!"
Nai was quite happy that the work he had to do in this school was something like this. Taking a pencil to his notebook, his mind began to work as he thought of something suitable to tell his teacher about.
Two people that have clashed are Yogi and the {Bad People}. Yogi is really amazing, he says his special words and two thorny swords appear out of thin air! He gets nervous when he fights, but when he does he's really strong. Sometimes... he gets hurt, and looks sad, but he cheers up really fast!
It's not just Yogi that fights the bad people, it's all of Circus! Even the lambs fight too! They get hurt also, but Jiki said that they can be replaced and so I shouldn't worry...
2 papers succeeding this one were all identical in structure, jumping from one topic to another without much of a flow to the subjects. The reason was simple; Nai had never told a story before, and his excitement over being able to do something he (apparently) understood was overwhelming. So much that he couldn't contain all his thoughts at once. He wanted to talk about it all!
Of course, he had no idea that the work you turned in at a school was to be graded, and that grades were something vital in a student's life.
The closest he had gotten to an education was the simple addition problems he worked on with Tsukumo. And only recently had he begun to write a journal, which was strictly filled with facts for Gareki to read when he returned. Almost letter-like in the way they were written. Needless to say, an original work of fiction was too complex for him yet.
Despite the fact he hadn't gotten the concept of the assignment at all, he was very proud of his "accomplishment". He was also quite sure that all his friends back at Circus would be equally--if not more--proud.
