it's a terrible thing to be so intimate with such a holy man, but at this point, she doesn't care. there's plenty of other things that have given her a comfortable spot in hell, but it's fine. she's had a lot of times before that have just cumulated up to the point where things are essentially just distilled to 'fine.'

julian's hands (his touch) are reverent as he helps zip her dress. sadie can feel the warmth of his skin through the fabric, her eyes closing at the sensation. chills pour down her spine, but they're good ones. perhaps it comes from actually being worthy enough to be touched by someone who doesn't expect everything. it's a foolish thought, of course, but it's a comfortable one to keep. she turns, her hands clasping his within. it's soft, her eyes just as.
