Well, this blog had a good run and while I still love plague docs and I cherish the positive memories from this blog, I have other passions in my life currently that take priority + i just really do not enjoy the online social culture of tumblr much nowadays to bother being active again on a blog with such a large following (it makes me a bit too nervous and irritated just thinking about it)! Additionally, to be super frank, I really enjoy engaging with my plague doctor fixation in a more explicitly roleplay/horror/nsfw lens nowadays and I'm just not comfortable with sharing that stuff here, considering I didn't really make this blog NSFW from the beginning and I have no idea how many of the thousands of my followers here are minors or followed me not expecting or consenting to see NSFW content or redirects to said content.
I'm sorry for never really being that active and interactive in the plaguecore community despite people trying to interact with me! I'm just not really good at cultivating online friendships. IRL i'm not shy at all but making friends online is difficult for me. But just know that I admire all the other doctors in the community and I wish y'all all the best. Y'all are so cool and I've learned so much from people so much more eloquent and educated than myself!
I'm going to keep this blog up for awhile more and I'm still going to keep my plague doctor aesthetic blog up (@plaguedoctorpropoganda) indefinitely because I genuinely love it and it brings me joy, but I'm currently relearning HTML/CSS so I can make a neocities or nekoweb website and put my avid discussion of my interests there. I would also like to engage with my plague doc interest in designated roleplay/horror/NSFW spaces without worry. I guess if that interests you, let me know though? IDK what i'd do with that information, perhaps when the inspiration strikes... Thanks for indulging in my special interest with me for so many years. Even though plaguecore and this blog existed for awhile before it, I'm so thankful that plaguecore blew up and brought so many people so much comfort and humor during the worst of the COVID pandemic and inspired so many people. See you on the flip side!
With love,
Dr. Grim
