Marinette's mom lore is gonna be so crazy
im gonna be gone for like 5 days so heres. something.
I was gonna draw more but I got. distracted
Oooh, Sabine has a girlfriend? Who is it?
Also, I didn't really think about the divorce, it could have been death or them never being married in the first place (or maybe Tom dating two people but the way Marinette talked about it made it clear that that wasn't the case).
Sofia my babygirl darling I love her so soso much
I lowkey didn't think about them just never getting married in the first place damn. or even like. raising Marinette as just friends the whole time
In my head, Tom and Sabine split up when Marinette was around 9, but didn't actually get divorced. I think they told Marinette (in Furpile Partners) after 2 years. Probably when Sabine and Sofia had already been dating for at least a year.
old women yuri.,,
I noticed some people recently seem to have turned on Tom because of the whole thing of him (possibly) being a self-insert of Astruc and Sabine (possibly) being based on an ex-girlfriend of Astruc.
really? I only know about one au where Tombine are divorced (@taldigi's Fashion Club) and that au is at least 2 years old
ooh yeah I know about that oof... I thought that this was a known thing?
but the idea of it came from making Sofia date someone (it's not the first time I paired her up with a divorced mom lol) and also Stephan and Marinette being siblings. idk why but it's funny to me
Furpile Partners:
What is Sofia's last name, if she never got married in this AU?
Her full name is Sofia Cardoso de Paiva. If my research (and understanding) is correct, in a normal/informal situation, she would be referred to as Cabroso in Portugal, but just Paiva in France (and other countries ofc)? And her full name would be used in a formal situation
