6. Sofia’s TRESemmé Shot
It came as no surprise that Sofia received the FCO for this shot! Her hair looks absolutely amazing, but I could also see this as an ad for skin care or cosmetics. Her bone structure is so stunning, her eyes are mesmerizing, and I love the twinge of mischievousness in her smirk. Sofia thoroughly owned this photoshoot!
9. Sofia’s Extreme Movement Shot
Sofia nailed it with this picture! I adore how fluid and elegant her pose is, she brought the right level of movement so naturally and did an excellent job of selling the dress. Her bone structure is so amazing, and her extremely fierce eye contact plays nicely against her ethereal body language as well. Sofia’s photo totally blew me away!

Favorite Photo: TRESemmé Shot
Least Favorite Photo: WWF Shot
Sofia immediately jumped out of the lineup from day one. Part of it was her 6ft tall stature, but she had the perfect runway body and a gorgeous face (and amazing bone structure) to go along with her height. Her high level of potential translated into her being one of the top competitors of the cycle photo-wise. While she was inconsistent like many of the other frontrunners, her misses were slightly less frequent compared to the likes of Stephanie and Aastha. She had a few underwhelming photos, but only her Quirky and WWF shots were blatantly bad to me. She balanced that out with several shining moments; her TRESemmé campaign was utter perfection, and her Prada, Boxing, Underwater, Movement, and Starlet shots were all fantastic too. Her portfolio was great overall, but I don’t think she fully nailed down her expressions or angles in photos and she was unsure of herself on set sometimes; some of her shots may have been from luck. Her walk wasn’t one of the very best, but it was solid and improved over time. Sadly, her nerves got the better of her in the go-sees challenge, which majorly hampered her since she booked zero jobs when she should’ve been a shoo-in for at least a few. Sofia’s inconsistency on set and go-see struggles were understandable reasons to cut her in 4th place, but I’d probably still give her one of the 3 finale spots based on her portfolio. She was definitely one of my favorite models of the cycle!

Sofia may be at the bottom but this is still a stellar photo! Her pose is in a similar vein to her photo from last week, the fluid motion is wonderful and she modeled the dress very well. The hand holding the clutch is awkward, but I love her side lean and the elegantly trailing arm. Her face could be stronger though. She appears beautifully haughty in the wide, but in the close-up she’s too drowsy and a bit cross-eyed. I would’ve loved to have seen Sofia in the finale and based on her track record I’d probably give her a spot, but I totally get why she was let go this week since she had the weakest shot and failed to book any go-sees. I was still sad to see her leave though!

I don’t think Sofia received enough credit at panel for this shot, it’s superb! Her face immediately steals my attention, she looks so seductive, her eyes are burning brightly, and her bone structure is gorgeous. The fluidity of her pose is amazing, I love how she’s sashaying across the frame and energetically tossing the fabric above her head. She confidently owned her height and worked the gown like a pro. Sofia killed it this week and delivered one of her personal best shots in the competition!

Sofia has such a mesmerizing shot this week! Her face is so gorgeous and I love the complexity of her expression; she’s both regal and fierce while showing sorrow/fear too, it’s like she’s a mermaid queen who’s angry and scared at the photographer for invading her home. The pose is far from perfect since her legs are too compacted and she somewhat lost her arms in the surrounding fabric, but I still adore how it looks like she’s emerging gracefully from the darkness and she made the outfit look sensational too. Sofia’s been in a bit of a slump recently so I was thrilled to see her rise back to the top of the pack with this wonderful photo!

Sofia did an excellent job of making her shot dynamic. The motion of the dress is cool, and the lifted arms are dance-like and frame her face well. However, she has one of my least favorite closeups of the week. Her cheekbones and fiery stare are awesome, but her tense grimace/frown is throwing off the lower half of her face. Sofia was a correct choice for a bottom 2 placement at panel since she had one of the most flawed shots, but I was relieved that it was a non elimination week since her photo was still strong.
