Janea Kroll (Sofia Bryant) The Code 1x9 Smoke-Pit (2019)
Janea on Zipple: [last year]I’m in my room, thinking of you Trig. I can’t wait to see you!–[six months ago]I hate sneaking around like this. Like, I’m a senior. I’m almost 18. We should be able to have sleep overs and stuff.–[today]Trig, I can’t see you today. Maybe not for a while. My Dad’s asking questions, he wants all my passwords. If he finds out about us, I’m dead.
—
Janea Kroll: Julian gave a Marine Corps presentation at school. It was pretty cool, so I asked some questions right after.
Trey Ferry: What kind of questions?
Dad/Dominic Kroll: Janea doesn’t have to join the military. She’s a good student and she was on track to get a scholarship before this recruiter started working on her.
Mom/Naomi Kroll: She’s still on track for a scholarship, Dom.
Dominic Kroll: These schools have no choice but to let you in but you’re putting grown men in a position to prey on kids. – This Staff Sergeant Lucas started texting our daughter. Then they moved to Zipple. Those messages disappear and God knows what they were saying but he clearly pressured her into a physical relationship.
Trey:[—] Janea. Your relationship with Sergeant Lucas, did it turn physical before your 18th birthday?
*Janea nods*
—
Janea Kroll: I wanted to talk to you without my Mom and Dad in the room. My father puts pressure on me. It’s hard not to say what he wants to hear.
Trey: Should we talk in private?
Janea Kroll: It’s OK. He should hear this too. I’m not going to help you ruin Trig’s life. (Trig?) Julian. It’s what some people call him. Nothing happened with us, not when I was 17.
John ‘Abe’ Abraham: Janea, what Julian did with you, it was wrong. We think there were others, too. I understand that you care about him–
Janea Kroll: I did not have sex with Trig when I was 17. And even if I did, I wouldn’t say so in court. You can keep going after him if you want. But I’m not gonna help you do it.
—
Abe: Janea.
Janea Kroll: I don’t wanna talk to you.
Abe: I won’t be long. Just, hear me out for 2 minutes and I’ll never bother you again. Staff Sergeant Lucas, Julian, he’s gonna be back on his post.
Janea Kroll: I heard.
Abe: We believe he attacked a woman in Richmond last year. Hit her in the face more than once. But we can’t proof it.
Janea Kroll: Seems like a running theme with you guys.
Abe: One thing that’s not up for debate, Julian believes in pretty disgusting things. [White supremacy]He posted that stuff under the name Trig725. He admitted he wrote all that. As if the name didn’t make it obvious. He’s proud of that stuff, Janea.
Janea Kroll: I don’t understand. If he thinks these things, how could he—?
Abe: The thing with these guys, maybe they don’t always connect the stuff they write with the real world. Maybe he thinks you’re—
Janea Kroll: One of the good ones?
Abe: I don’t know. That stuff you’re reading, that’s the real Julian. That’s the guy you’re protecting.
[Janea presses rape charges]

Female Explorer Sophia (Sofia Bryant) Blue Bloods 8x12 The Brave (2018)
Frank Regan: Well, I have a question for all of you. How many of you want to be cops? Anyone? Yeah.
Sophia: I want to be the first black female police commissioner.
Frank: (chuckles) Good for you.
Sophia: But not ‘cause I like cops or anything like that. ‘Cause I want to change the system. I want to change everything about it.
GORMLEY: Okay, uh, listen up. We’re gonna exit out this way. Officer Dubrowski is gonna take you back downstairs. Follow him. Thank you.
Frank: Uh, excuse me. Um, sorry. Um, what’s your name?
Sophia: Sophia.
Frank: Um, can I give you this? I’d love it if you called me. I’d like to talk to you some more about this.
Sophia: Sure. Okay.
Frank: Okay.
Sophia: Thank you.
Frank: Oh, thank you.
Sophia: Thank you.
Frank: Good luck, Sophia.
Sophia: Thanks.

Jaimie Regan: We’re just a couple of regular P.O.s here to talk to you today. And we know you’ve met a lot of bosses in suits and brass in uniforms and a lot of bars and stripes. Well, that’s not us.
Janko: Yeah, we’re just cops.
Jaimie: And the odds are, if you’re lucky enough to join this department, you’ll be one of us.
Janko: And that story we told you about Billy, cops do that. Regular cops.
JAMIE: And sometimes, cops have to make a judgment call that gets them jammed up with the brass and the bosses.
JANKO: Like us. Reason we’re here, we pulled a suspension for insubordination. (murmuring)
JAMIE: Which happened while we were trying to help out Billy.
Janko: Which was the right thing to do.
Jaimie: And the risky thing, as it turns out. We made a judgment call.
Janko: We’d do it again.
Jaimie: Risk isn’t always about facing down a gun, sometimes it’s about helping someone in trouble so they don’t end up in more trouble.
Janko: That’s a risk worth taking.
Sophia: Because you saved Billy’s life.
Janko: Maybe. We’ll never know for sure.
JAMIE: But maybe. And at the end of the day, that’s as good a reason as any for becoming a cop.
Yesha Dargis (Sofia Bryant) The Good Wife 7x17 Shoot (2016)
Yesha Dargis: “After passing the medical college admission test, “I will need four more years of education, and I intend to go to Stanford School of Medicine.”
—
Yesha: But nobody will love me, Dad. Not with these stupid braces.
Harry Dargis: Hey. Come here. Everyone will love you, honey, because you are the most beautiful girl in the world.
—
Harry: Wow. Hold on, baby. Look at my little girl growing up. Her first prom. Look at you! You look you look gorgeous. Absolutely stunning.
Yesha: Thank you, Dad.
Harry: You look good, too, young man. You look good. (Chuckles)
Yesha: Okay, Dad, can we go now?
Harry: All right, hold on. Need a.. Need a picture, please. (Laughter) All right, got you. All right, you guys. What, I don’t get no love? (Kissing) All right. I love you.
Yesha: Love you, too. (Laughs gently)
—
Yesha: Did you want a son, Dad, not a daughter?
Harry: No. Why would you ask me that?
Yesha: I don’t know. Boys seem less complicated.
Harry: (Chuckles) Hmm. (Tires squealing, shouting)
Yesha: What’s that?
Harry: Next door. They’re having some problems. I think he’s selling drugs or something. (Gunshots, glass breaking) Yesha, get down! Get down, Yesha! (Man shouting, dog barking, woman screaming in distance) Gina, call 911! Yesha, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Yesha: Dad. Dad, Dad, Dad.
Harry: It’s okay. It’s okay. It’s okay. Shh shh - (Siren wailing in distance) (Crying)
Yesha: Dad
Harry: It’s okay. It’s okay, baby.
Yesha: D-Dad. (Crying) Dad. Dad
Harry: Yesha. Yesha.
Yesha: Dad (Crying) Dad. Dad
Sofia Bryant
Let’s keep it to one[superpower]. Make it tougher on you.
Sofia Bryant: Oh my gosh. Teleportation.
That’s a good one.
Sofia Bryant: I wouldn’t have to pay for tickets to go anywhere and I’d never be late.
Where’s the first place you’d teleport to?
Sofia Bryant: Probably Finland. That’s where I have family. I mean it’s such an underrated place. I love it there.

BT: What do you miss most when you’re not in Finland?
Sofia Bryant: I actually have a lot of family back there, so of course I miss my family when I’m not there, but I also just [giggles] I miss the food, I miss the berries, I miss the air. [laughs] It’s a lot cleaner than Manhattan, New York. Definitely those are the main things that I miss, but I have one of my very close friends that lives there actually now, she’s going to college there, and yeah, I have most of the mom’s side of my family there, but I do try to visit as often as I can!
