Last question for satellites for the time being: what are Rey and Ben using as protection (aka birth control)? - I don´t really know if there was ever any kind of canon for that in the SW EU.

the only thing i remember re: birth control in the EU is tenel ka slowing down her pregnancy so the hapes crew wouldn’t figure out jacen solo was the baby daddy. im sure there’s something else out there and im sure it’s probably misogynist because EU

it was pointed out to me that i forgot to address contraception in The One Smut Chapter so far, and that’s super super super my bad. it’ll be explicitly mentioned in future chapters, but im basically headcanoning that ben has an implant of some kind.

& also to be transparent about it: no kids in this fic

Currently, no. Those two are laid to rest for me, at the moment. I haven’t marked Nu Eridanis as discontinued, but maybe one day I will. Whispers in the Penumbra was a joint project with @holocroning so I don’t feel that I have the right to solely say “no, it’s finished,” but I would venture to say that neither of us are likely to return to it.

Do you think we´ll get the full trailer by October (following TFA´s model)?

Yeah, that’s very likely (tickets should go onsale around then too). We also have the Vanity Fair spread out (generally in May), as well as San Diego Comic Con in the summer. Add that to the book releases, Disney+ and the Mandalorian, and we’ve got a LOT of Star Wars content coming.

I AM SO EXCITED. Star Wars Fatigue, my ass, put it in my veins, Disney!

You know, I haven´t looked for many written reviews on TFA/TLJ under the Catholic viewpoint, but your comment makes me want to seek them. I recall one of the greatest passages in Scripture:  "today you will be with me in Paradise" - Luke 23:39-42 - redemption and compassion go along. And if Episode IX  reminds us of that - what a great message for the world it will be!

I’ve seen a lot of beautiful sw redemption posts framed in a general christian understanding of redemption! I think for a lot of us it’s why it resonates so much. That is the most beautiful, hopeful, incredible line from Scripture, isn’t it. He said this to a thief!! Who was being punished for crimes he absolutely committed. This day, not tomorrow, or in a thousand years. This. Day. It’s so beautiful. Also yes! I fully agree that we all need that message of redemption!!

Gosh I know! Her tail is ridiculous(ly cute). She thwacks it into everything, so loudly you wince because surely it must bruise from the impact!

Her intense tail wagging has earned her the very apt nickname “Wigglebutt”. ;)

I loved the "Trust" panel from Solitudes :) Perhaps, we will see a similar scene ("what happened at the Supremacy?") between Finn and Rey. And she has a beautiful expression in panel 2 while gazing at her friend. I hope Ben/Kylo receives one as well :)

I think Rey will reveal less to Finn in the canon, perhaps (a way to drive up tension in the story?) but we will see. Building trust between characters can be so important, like how Rey went from “You’re a monster!” to “I tell you my greatest fear” with Kylo in TLJ.
