Okay, so this was an AU written by one of my teammates (sofilledwithfeeling) for the Cabin Crew Riot Two. If you don't know what that was about, well, this was submitted to the blog for that, so you can check all that out. But the way it was submitted into six posts (for achieving maximum points) made me post six links for you guys.
The main prompt was continents. The subprompt my team got was Asia (I have to wonder if that was because we were Team Xinzhou?). Because she is from Asia herself (Singapore, but has traveled all over), she came up with many, many ideas for us to use. This is one she took for herself.
Martin is saved by a phoenix when he walked into a nest of snakes on his hike through a forest in China. AU, warning for super vague porn and super purple prose.
Even if you don't think Arthur as a phoenix would be your thing, it's just really beautiful (and depressing), one of the best fics my team came up with I believe. In fact, we wrote quite a bit of Skipthur on my team (including myself) so be on the look out for more links back to that tumblr. (Oh, and the last part is like an epilogue in case you're wondering why the sudden shift in POV.)
