A look at several rebels before the Battle for Galaa/Sofitt.
Everything seemed to go well until the rebels almost reached the top of Galaa/Sofitt hill. Libyan army snipers picked off rebel after rebel. This video shows how woefully inadequate an AK47 is against a sniper. Listen to the return fire from the sniper.
In the early part of the Battle for Galaa/Sofitt, there wasn't much cover. Just open fields with some olive trees and long stretches of road. In this clip, I'm running perpendicular to the hill and the gunfire is coming from the left.
