HEALTHY FRENCH FRIES 🌿 How to make healthy French fries, baked in the oven but that are super crispy too? 🌿 It’s actually super easy, but there is one important step that you shouldn’t miss! The potatoes must be soaked in hot water for about 10 minutes to remove starch from the potatoes. Then, you can ale you fries in the oven, adding less oil that you would normally do if you fry them. 🌿 One more tip, bake your fries 30 minutes. Let them cool down and bake another 10 minutes just before serving. They will be even crispier! 🌿 RECIPE (4 servings) 1 kg firm potatoes 80 ml olive oil 1 tablespoon herbes de Provence Salt Pepper 🌿 Cut the potatoes in the shape of fries (I used my serrated vegetable cutter from @triangletools_solingen). Soak for 10 minutes in hot water. Dry you fries well in a clean cloth. Place in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper and herbes de Provence. Mix well.
