You felt like going on a walk today. Normally you would just stroll around the neighbourhood but today you felt like changing things up a little. You haven't been to this part of town, it was just a feeling that dragged you towards it.
Apparently, this part wasn't as crowded as the other places, which was quite nice. Ever since you moved to Paris, your mind didn't really settle. There was always something going on, not quite as romantic as some would think the city was. So to find a place this quiet, even if it wasn't the most beautiful, you enjoyed it.
As you walked across the street, a large garage was being opened. You glanced at the door out of pure curiosity. But you didn't look away after you'd seen his face. One that was way too familiar to you.
You stopped in your tracks and inhaled sharply. What on earth was he doing in Paris?
But then, why wouldn't he be in Paris. He did god knows what, things you only knew so much about as to not be endangered by it. You shouldn't be surprised.
You still stood there, visible surprise on your face that mirrored the others faces, as you looked back and forth between them.
How you weren’t even wondering why there was a, most probably, kidnapped man about to be sat on the backseat, you didn't quite know yourself. It just fitted the whole situation.
August stood there, slowly letting go of the door, his eyes fixed on yours. But before he could do anything, you heard a gunshot. You didn’t only hear it, you felt it. What on earth? You thought as you dropped onto the pavement. It felt like someone had punched you in the ribs, and you couldn't comprehend that the bullet actually hit you.
„Walker!" you could hear one of the guys at the car yell.
August was raging with anger, how would they dare to harm you, to harm what's his.
The next thing you heard were more shots. You couldn't see much, but what you saw was August, in front of you, and a gun in his hand. He had shot the men, all three of them. They had said something directed at one of the guys August was with, but you couldn't hear it, for you were groaning in pain.
„Y/N!" August called out name. „Y/N, Angel please…" he repeated your name over and over, turning to you.
As he kneeled down, his large hands cupped your face and his fingers lightly brushed your cheek. The angry expression on his face changed and he looked as if his worst nightmare just happened. „August.." you whispered, panting heavily. You were about to pass out and he knew it. „Stay with me, okay?" he whispered.
His voice was raspy. You could just nod in pain.
August slipped his arms under your knees and your neck, as he lifted you up. Still watched by the others in shock of his actions.
His strong hold made you feel safe. The way he carried you but looked at your face every few seconds to make sure you still had your eyes open.
„You're going to be fine, you hear me? I won't let anything happen to you. I won't leave you ever again." The moment you looked into his eyes, filled with worry and sincerity, you knew he would keep his word this time.

Summary: Books aren’t the only things he can read. You are no different.
A/N: not beta’d. We die with our mistakes like men.
He can’t describe it but he knows something is off. Not in a huge way but even the way she’s sitting seems wrong. Even though she had said many times that she’s “fine” he can sense something just beneath the surface.
If it’s one thing he’s glad he’s learned from his job it’s how to get people to open up and talk. He makes you a cup of tea and brings it to you by your perch on the couch.
You smile up at him and he caresses your cheek. He sits opposite of you and you continue trying to read the book in your hands. The smell of the warm liquid calls to you and you give in. Finally reaching over to let the first drops of it warm your body it feels like a warm blanket being pulled around you.
“How did you know I needed some tea,” sighing as you place the mug back down on the table.
“It helps you to relax.”
“What makes you think I’m not?”
“Angel,” his fingers stroke your bare thigh, “you’ve not turned the page on that book in over thirty minutes. So you’re either distracted or tense.”
You shrug as a way of conceding defeat.
“Come here. I want to hold you.”
You hesitate for a split second but crawl your way onto his lap. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you close your eyes and fight off the fountain of words threatening to bubble out.
“I know you insist that you’re fine after last night,” whispering as he runs his hands over your back, “but I think I’ve hurt you and you’re not telling me.”
You shake your head.
“Sweetie, please don’t lie to me about anything like this. Remember you must always be honest with me. Especially if I’ve crossed a line.”
“You didn’t. Not on purpose,” sniffles swallowed up by his chest.
He sweeps your hair off your forehead and places a gentle kiss on your forehead, “just tell me. I want to fix it.”
You take a shuddering breath, “at the time I liked it. It was a turn on. I’ve never been degraded before. But…”
“Go on.”
“It’s….just one word. I don’t like it. It makes me feel wrong. Even if I only act like one for you. And I’m yours that way. I don’t like it.”
“Can you say it? Or do you need to write it down?”
“I don’t think I can say it without getting upset.”
He opens up a note in his phone and hands it to you. He watches as you type the word “whore.” He felt a stab in his chest when he thought about you hurting over this. He quickly erased the typing and tucks his phone back into his pocket.
He squeezes you tightly in his grip, “I’m sorry. I should have been more specific.”
“To be fair I said you could call me anything you like and I knew my safe words. At that moment I was okay. Just sitting with it ....”
“You don’t need to give me any more reason than you don’t like it. It will never leave my lips again. Were there more that you didn’t like after?”
“I’m not sure.”
“Perhaps we should have a longer talk about what words you do like for that play.”
Your skin heats and you wiggle in his lap, “well I really liked when you said I was your needy girl or that my body was needy. And,” swallowing down your desire, “how you said it was pathetic the way I begged for you.”
He raises an eyebrow, “I’ll keep that in mind. What’s going on in that head of yours.”
“Just that,” sitting up slightly to meet his gaze, “I just think that even when I’m open and honest you’ll be mad at me or you won’t want this. I know it’s just putting my bullshit on you….”
“Easy now. When I asked for you to be with me and for us to do this, I would have to see the hurt and damage left by someone else. I knew I would have to face it with you,” wiping unshed tears from your eyes, “nothing you ever say that is open and honest will make me want you less. Now I might have to adjust things but it would be important especially then to tell me how you’re feeling. The last thing in the world I ever want is to cause you pain and make you feel abandoned. I can’t do that to you. I can’t ever let you feel that again.”
You snuggled into him again and sighed. You let yourself be held. His words felt like a warm blanket over you because you knew he meant it. In all your time with him, no matter what, you knew he cared for you and he was there.
“Would it be okay if I held you and told you what I’m thinking?”
You nod and wrap your arms tightly around him.
“You’re so brave and I’m so proud of you. You put your trust in me. I know it scares you because of your past. In spite of that, you trust me. You submit to me in ways I’m sure you’d never even thought about. It’s beautiful, just like you inside and out. It nearly brings me to tears when I think about how far you’ve come. Seeing you come into a more confident version of yourself, it draws me to you even more.”
Your cheeks heat, “August, you’re embarrassing me.”
“I’m going to do it more. Do you have any idea what you do to me? I pride myself on control and one little pout from you and I’m broken. Or even one little phrase and I’m a mad man. One little text, one sentence, that’s all it takes.”
“Like what,” your skin is warm all over.
“Tease,” he growls into your ear, “but I’ll play along. Hmm, let me see. Begging for anything, even if you're just politely asking, never fails to make my train of thought go to all the ways I can make you say please,” his fingers dig into your hips as he whispers, “my very good girl.”
You rock your hips forward and groan at feeling him harden beneath you.
“You like what you do to me Angel,” you frantically nod at him, “it’s because you’re such a good girl. Obedient and shy but willing to be dirty just for me. Isn’t that right, pumpkin?”
Gasping as his hips rise to meet yours, “yes Daddy. Only for you.”
His lips crash against yours and you’re lost. He hadn’t intended to be this aroused but praising you also makes his list of things he becomes a mad man for. Pulling away he gazes at your face, “I got carried away. Forgive me. I’m supposed to make you feel better and not force anything.”
You shake your head, “you’re not. But I need to… I mean, could,” you huff in frustration as embarrassment steals your words.
He holds you even tighter to him, “darling girl, don’t be ashamed. Nothing you need is wrong. I will never look down on you for using your words and telling me what you need. Now, take a breath and just ask.”
You close your eyes and breathe deeply. You know he wouldn’t think anything of it, “I need to feel you close to me. Inside me. Please Daddy.”
Even though you’ve never asked for it, he swells with pride at how you were able to say it aloud, “good girl.”
He reaches between you to free himself. Your eyes dip to watch so he strokes himself a few times just to hear the little gasps that come from you.
Rising up on your knees, he slides his fingers over the front of your shorts. He smiles as he moves the fabric to the side and finds your bare slit. His fingers glide over the wetness that has gathered, “very good girl.”
He lines himself up with your entrance, “go on. Sit.”
You sink down on his length and exhale. It’s wonderful and right. Your eyes meet his.
“Lay against me princess.”
You do as you’re told but a small groan passes your lips as his thick length presses against your cervix.
“I know. You’re so full. Be a good girl and don’t move now,” he picks up your discarded book, “I’m going to read to you.”
“But Daddy,” whining aloud.
He spanks you sharply, “I said be a good girl. No whining. No moving. Just feel me inside you. Listen to me read to you,” he kisses your temple, “then maybe when you’re so needy you can hardly bear it Daddy will give you more. Can you do that, be Daddy’s good girl?”

You knew who August Walker was. What he had in mind. And yet, you couldn't feel anything but love for him.
You didn't support his actions, and he was well aware of it. But you knew that you couldn't stop him if he wanted something. You were just like him when it came to being stubborn.
August may have had some very questionable morals and worldviews, but when he was with you, nothing of that mattered. He was the most loving, caring and respectful man you have ever met. The moment he laid eyes on you, August knew you were his one in a million, his future wife and the mother of his children.
And now, almost four years later, that’s exactly what you were. His wife, the love of his life, and the mother of his son.
Your phone rang in your pocket, and you fished it out of your jeans. „Hey Walker." you teased him, using his - and your - last name. A game you loved to play. „Hey, Y/N.“ he teased you back using your full name. “Baba, baba!” your son excitedly babbled, seated on your hip. He could sense his daddy from a mile. You giggled and nudged his nose with yours.
“Hey mister.” August grinned at the other end of the phone. The two have had a special bond ever since they first looked at each other the day your baby was born. That day, in the small hospital room with just the three of you, August’s eyes changed. Into the ones of a father, one that would do anything, literally anything, to keep his family safe.
Changing to a more serious tone, you asked, „Is everything okay?". "I'm good, baby. Uhm, I just forgot the other phone at home…" his voice lowered at the last part of his sentence. „Could you maybe bring it? Just if that's fitting for you, I don't wanna boss you around, peaches." „Don’t worry, where are you right now?" you asked while looking for the phone.
Finding it laying on the dresser, just as he described, you put it in your pocket. „I'll send you the address. I love you, peaches." August softly said. „I love you." you returned with a smile.
"Let's bring Daddy his phone, shall we?" you smiled at the little man on your arm. He smiled up at you, his eyes - which looked just like your own - shining with joy. You chuckled and kissed his hairline.
August was heading for the safe house in London and you knew he needed the phone, he wouldn't have called you if it wasn't truly important. And you knew it was safe, August would never risk having you, nor your child, in danger.
You were just going to combine this with a visit to the playground, a win-win situation, since August would have his phone and you could go on a swing with your little man and maybe even wear him out, so he'd be fast asleep for his nap time.
The address August sent you wasn't far away. Pushing the stroller in front of you, you had a glance at your phone from time to time, just to make sure you were walking in the right direction. „Baba!" your eyes followed the direction of the little hand, pointing at his daddy. August must've heard it, because he did the same. A smile crept up his face as he saw the two of you, and you waved a hand as you returned his smile. He was still standing a few meters away from you when you stopped. There was no need to get any closer to the group he was standing with.
The name to which August reacted seemed to draw the attention of his bystanders. A woman turned around to look at you, and you gave her a small smile, which she returned.
„Who's that?" One of them asked as he watched the interaction between you and your husband. „None of your business, Hunt." August spat out with a look that could kill, clearly showing that he couldn't stand the man in front of him one bit.
He made his way to you with heavy steps, anyone else would run if a man his size came towards them, but his gaze softened with every step he took until he finally stood in front of you.
„Hi handsome." you smiled up at him as you handed August his phone. „Hey peaches," he put it in his suit pocket, kissing your cheek, „Thank you."
„Be careful please." Your smile was now replaced with worry. August nodded, and a smile crept up at the corner of his lips, a strong hand at your chin tilting your head slightly up to look at his eyes, „I promise." he said in a low voice. He kissed the top of your nose, and you closed your eyes at his loving gesture, while the group he left behind couldn't believe their eyes at August Walker's sudden change. It was as if he was someone else. Instead of the cold and often rude behavior, he seemed loving and protective.
August bent down to your son, who was still in his stroller, looking up at his parents. „Hey man," August grinned at him, „Take care of mommy until I'm back, alright?" With bright eyes, your mini me shook his head yes and babbled some incomprehensible words at his dad. August tousled through his dark hair.
"Don't go anywhere until I'm back." he looked back at you with a hint of concern in his eyes. He tried to hide it, but you could see right through it. „Promise" you smiled. August bent down a little to connect your lips with his. Your eyes shut close, savoring the moment and the scent radiating from him.
His lips were soft, and you quickly opened yours for him. August didn't waste another second and deepened the kiss, cupping your face with his strong hands. Yours were already wrapped around his neck, lightly tugging at his hair. A soft moan escaped your lips as he gently bit your lip. August planted one more kiss on your lips before his hands wandered down to your hips, pulling you even closer. „I love you, peaches." he whispered. „I love you too." Your arms wrapped around his torso, your head nuzzling into his muscular chest. August's hands wandered up your back, and he just held you close for some time.
„Now, aren't you going to introduce us to your lady and the little Walker?" Hunt asked him once August returned to them. „No.“ was all he coldly said, the August they all knew being back.
August stretched his arm out to your side of the bed to pull you against him in his sleep but instead of your soft/warm body, he felt a cold empty side. His squinted eyes shifted to the clock on the nightstand 01:30 AM, it read. There was a faint clattering of utensils. He stumbled out of the bed, following the noise to the kitchen.
There you were sitting on the chair by the table sighing deeply with your back to him. "Y/n?" August's voice startled you. "Oh my god, you scared me!" you exclaimed turning towards your surprised husband.
"It's 1:30, what are you doing out here?" August frowned.
"I'm hungry" You declared walking to his alluring self.
"Okay, I'm sure there is some leftover spaghetti in the fridge. I'll heat that" August rubbed his eyes, walking to the fridge.
"No! I need ice cream" You groaned
"Ice cream now? really?"
"Yeahhhhh"
"Ugh, fine....here" he slid a vanilla flavor tub to you, from the freezer.
"But I need Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie" You murmured examining the ice cream tub placed infront of you.
"Where will we find that at this hour love?" August yawned.
"Please Auggie!" you tried giving the best pout.
"Let us do one thing, you eat this vanilla right now and I'll buy you Fudge Brownie first thing tomorrow" August stated.
"Nooo! I want it right now" You whined like a small baby, making you cringe at your annoying voice but the cravings were making you go crazy.
"Please Y/n, no ice cream parlour will be open at 1:30" August sighed and took a seat on the table, rubbing his face in frustration.
"Fine you know what, I'll go and get it myself" You took a few steps towards the door when August held your wrists and strongly turned you around.
"Don't be stupid Y/n, who's gonna give you an ice cream at this hour? Come on, let's get you to bed. I know multiple ways to distract you" August smirked and pulled you to your shared bedroom.
"Noooo! I'm craving ice cream. Please please August, it's your son that needs it real bad" you claimed pointing at your baby bump.
"Fine" August sighed. "Go get your coat!" pulling you to him, placing a sloppy kiss on your lips.
"Yay, I love you" You grinned pulling back from the kiss and making your way to your bedroom.
"Love you more" August replied back, smacking your ass. "Aye!" you shrieked.
August couldn't believe how madly in love he is with your stubborn ass. He was so looking forward to the next chapter in his life. But, now all he hoped is for some shop/parlour to be open to buy you the Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
"Ahh god, it's going to be a long night" August exclaimed.

August walks around the house humming something all the time, today was no different. I was in the laundry room loading the washer when I heard him this time.
That sounds so familiar. Raising an eyebrow I realized it was the tune he’d been humming the past few days. Hmm, maybe that’s why it sounds so... oh my god. “No way.” I whispered as he began to sing it out loud.
“I wish I could be the perfect daughter, but I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try”, he walked into the kitchen, not realizing I was still in the laundry room. I peaked around the corner.
He had kept his voice on the low side, “Every turn I take, every trail I track, every path I make, every road leads back,” probably not even on purpose, “to the place I know where I cannot go, where I long to be”, gradually growing louder.
Grabbing a mug down from the cabinet to fix himself some coffee he belted out the chorus. “See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me! And no one knows how far it goes!” I walked into the kitchen holding our daughters favorite nightgown, Moana and Maui smiling proudly from the front. “Maybe I'll get you one to match?”
He never faltered. The CIAs best assassin just got caught singing, arguably, the catchiest Disney princess song. He just looked at my smirking face, and smiled, “if you can get it in grey that’d be perfect.” He walked away, sipping coffee, humming the rest of the lyrics.

She stretched one of her arms out the window, Feeling the air rushed past it, pushing her arm up and down. Her smile completely contagious. She was the happiest she had been in the past few weeks and August knew it. He didn’t need to be around her that whole time to know, he always seen it the moment she saw him and her mind could process he was alive and back with her.
Since he came home less then 24hrs ago from his most recent mission, he hadn’t seen the smile drop from her face, he knew she could say the same about him.
Usually he drove but he couldn’t resist when she begged him to let her drive his super expensive white sports car. He obviously didn’t get to drive it much as he was always away, and when he was home he mostly spent it trapping her in their bed or away on a surprise vacation, like today. After hours of catching up and fucking her on every surface of their shared home he surprised her with a week away in a cabin. The cabin was his own and was well equipped to deal with anything that may arise, completely secured.
He knew he could be called back into work at any moment but he had good insight that he’d have at least a week where he wouldn’t have to leave her or the cabin. Maybe just for more champagne and her favorite dairy free ice cream depending on her mood during their stay but that was it about the only thing that could get August to leave.
Her laughter brought him back to the present moment. He smiled as he turned to her.
“Yes?”
“I asked if you like what you see Walker” she said throwing him a quick flirty look over her shoulder before focusing on the road. “Your staring at me all doe eyed” she giggled.
He laughed and shook his head, he was completely smitten and they both knew it. Anyone who spent time around them could see it was mutual. For as hard and cruel of a man as August was and seen as, she was his weakness. His weakness and strength actually, because he would do any and everything for her and that could be used in either way. She was the light in his life and she loved him completely, wholly.
“I love what I see actually” He answered staring at her again, watching her bite her lip as a smile took over her face. Her eyes caught his for a moment as she ran her hand down the side of his face, nails and fingertips leaving a tingling trail behind, as he stored this moment and everything about her in his memory, he would need it for when he left on this next mission. Bringing anything personal or that would lead anyone back to her was not an option for him. She was well aware of what he did and why she couldn’t call, only wait for his calls. He pushed it from his mind, praying it would be a while before he had to leave her again.
She hummed to the music as they noticed the traffic up ahead, must be road work August thought. His fingers tapped the car door as his arm lazily hung half in and half out. He noticed her head snap down causing her long box braids to sway. She looked toward her feet, her face confused when she looked back up ahead of them.
“Love, what’s wrong?”
Her stomach dropped and her skin turned to ice as she her eyes went back and forth between her foot and the traffic coming closer up ahead. She was unable to form words to tell him, her mind raced with what to do. Her face turned to him completely in fear, mouth slightly parted in a silent cry. August body went tense, rigid as a steel rod as he slowly grasped what he thought was happening, it can’t be.
The brakes
Someone cut the breaks
August looked up at the traffic in the distance that they were speeding towards, he had to push back the thought who and of when someone would have had the opportunity and focus on what was happening. His mind snapped out the fog when he heard her.
“August!”
She was trying to pump the break, willing it to start working as tears ran down her face.
“August it isn’t working!” She yelled.
August scanned the scene in front of them. Up ahead was dead stop traffic, and on their sides, woods and then metal railings dividing it from the other on coming traffic. There was no clear opening to drive into. The traffic would cause head on collision which had a high chance of death and the railing along the left sides of them also had a high death rate surprisingly. The trees and boulders of the right side weren’t an option either. He couldn’t eject them out of the car at this speed, especially with the traffic that’s following further behind them. Cars wouldn’t have enough time to stop if they didn’t notice their body’s on the pavement. Another sure death.
He looked up at her as her own eyes searched looking for an exit, an out point. Her face slowly succumbing to grief as she realized they had none. Every option a high chance of death with the speed they were going.
The knot in August stomach was a feeling he had never felt before. He had been so careful with her, to keep her out of the line of danger. Some how he had missed something and literally put her in the front seat of danger.
“Turn the steering wheel towards me and get down! By the time we make impact-“
“No!....No!” She yelled through her tears and sobs, she had realized what he was trying to do. He wanted to take the impact, he wanted his life on the line not hers.
“Please August! There must be another-“
“There isn’t!! Turn the wheel now!! We don’t have time!” He yelled as the traffic got closer. Their speed closing the distance fast.
Her eyes danced over his face for a moment, a dreadful feeling growing in her stomach and spreading through her body, it was completely unbearable. She couldn’t live life without him. It wasn’t possible, she loved him too much. She would die for him.
“I’m so sorry August, I love you” she said as she stared into his eyes, praying he seen everything she wouldn’t have time to say to him again. Her words were a wrecking ball into his very existence, it shattered his world.
His hands shot out to grab the wheel, as the understanding what she was saying hit him. It was too late though, she was turning the wheel and swinging the car in the opposite direction from what he instructed. If he tired to grab the wheel now he’d only cause the car to flip into traffic. He had no doubt her side would make impacted as the car swung and headed to slam into traffic.
She couldn’t take her eyes off him, she wouldn’t. She wanted him to be the last thing she saw even if it meant watching his desperate fight to save her. His eyes wild and full of fear, tears falling freely as he looked back and forth frantically before they finally landed on hers. Defeated.
She was a lively young woman she loved life before August BUT life with August was unmatched. So when she smiled at August, the kind of smile that told him she had been happier in the last 4 years with him then she had been her whole life, he felt his blood go cold.
No. He couldn’t give up. Not ever, especially not when she smiled at him like she was willing to lose it all to save him. She already saved August everyday of his life since he’s meet her. Saved him over and over again without even knowing it. When she snuggled into his chest late at night, barely awake, running her fingers through the lite fur of his chest hairs and lazily kissing the same spot she saved August, save him from night terrors of all the horrible things he’s done. When they swam naked in the Caribbean ocean off a secluded beach on that one vacation early on in their relationship and her wet body pressed into his begging for more kisses under the moonlight she saved him from ever wondering what life without love was like. What could life ever be without her? That kinda of world didn’t make sense to August.
August grabbed at her to pull her closer to his side, but her seatbelt prevented him from shielding her body with his when they felt the impact and then instantly the loud crash and breaking of glass completely over taking his senses before everything went black..
Yes, he definitely will go soft for a woman he loves. First of all, a list of soft August I wrote:
August’s Tender Touch
One more touch before we die
Farewell (saddest thing ever, sorry!)
August singing Sinatra to you
August may be a Dom and let’s face it; he has psychopathic tendencies. If to judge by our moral standards, he kills people and he thinks that causing a cataclysm will save humanity. In his point of view, he is doing the right thing even though he knows it’s murder.
So he’s considered a dangerous man. But it doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel and incapable of loving back. He will be severely devoted to his woman, willing to protect you and kill for you. You are his everything and he guards you with zeal.
To begin with, he loves his woman sweet and pure, it doesn’t matter if he defiles you in any way possible, you are his princess, he sees the tenderness in you and loves to dress you in white and pink lacey lingerie and taking photos of you so he can always look at you even when he’s away.
He loves to touch, he is a very physical man so even when it’s not about sex he will have his fingers entangled in your hair. Gently positioning your head on his thigh and just stroking your while watching a movie.
He loves bubble baths and he loves giving them to you. Lighting candles around the room, using one of them bath bombs and then kneading your sore neck and lathering your breasts.
And he will make love to you on occasion, some mornings he will just roll onto you and start kissing you all over, worshipping your body, his tongue trailing every piece of your skin admiringly while he whispers how beautiful his princess is. 🥺
