Joseph is really the first “friend” (person he met, talked to, decided to trust slightly more than he trusted others, and imparted personal information to) that Johannes made when he moved to England. He never really liked Joseph, he just thought he could control him, which he was very very wrong about. Though Joseph seemed like some bumbling drunkard at first, he, like Johannes, is a scheming little bastard who will deceive and mess with you, but unlike Johannes, he does it mostly for his amusement rather than his benefit.

Joseph’s movements are meandering and leisurely. Occasionally, he seems to lack awareness of his corporeal form, and catches a shoulder or hip on walls or furniture when turning a corner. Additionally, he doesn't seems to be able to walk in a straight line, no matter how sober.

Johannes moves gracefully and swiftly with precision, like a dancer. His movements almost have a rhythm to them, and he uses techniques he learned from practicing ballet as a child, giving a sense of artistry to something as mundane as walking.
