ok i don’t have much but i’ll see what i can cook

evil amalie would most likely be using her father’s established connections to set up shop in alola (and by father i mean both lance + gi*vanni) and not so much found rainbow rocket, she can’t be associated with them, but def form a society around her.

at first her goal is to simply find mewtwo and make sure it’s eradicated because she’s tired of losing everything she’s held dear because of giovanni, so she wants to inherit his empire and destroy it from the inside

but then

absolute power corrupts absolutely.

amalgam isn’t dumb. she knows nobody’s going to take her seriously as a blind trans girl in a competitive world. so she plays the victim, begging the aether foundation for their research into ultra beasts so she can find mewtwo. and then she takes her enterprise to paldea, looking into paradox pokemon.

the goal started as eliminating mewtwo and destroying all traces of her old life to move forward. but she’s sitting in the swivel chair now, her hair tied up in a neat bun, drumming her nails against the desk with her name card on it.

she survived a godless amount of time loops watching her best friend die. if all it takes to get him back is just to wait for the right ultra beast to stumble on through that portal, or to find a paradox celebi…

she’s a very patient girl.

so i’ve got them on tumbly teehee @beryllium-lanthanide :> there’s a google doc w all of his info BUT!!! (quick disclaimer i’m gonna use all of his pronouns so get ready for a lot of he/they/kyan :> )

so!! bery is just a guy who’s game got corrupted and had to jailbreak himself with his blaziken. they’ve wandered the regions for years, and while i don’t have amalgam’s au and beryllium’s ‘world’ set in the same place i thought it’d be silly to have them be siblings :>

see the thing about amalie is that she’s horrible at attachments. post-pasta, she’s either extraordinarily clingy (lance) or she doesn’t speak at all. beryllium is similar but kyan’s arc has made him a lot more open to people :>!! so i thought since bery is essentially half dead and amalie is blind they could get along well together, and he takes it upon himself to teach amalie how to get by in the world when people see you as just a bit off putting. she immediately hates them because he’s happy and healthy and ‘wow bery i wonder why dad lets you have TWO boyfriends’ /ref

eventually amalgam does warm up to bery more and trusts kyan, so they get the evil plan of “you know we’re not that different what happens if we lie that we’re siblings??” since bery is hoennian and amalie is johtonian(?) they lie that they’ve got different dads and it… works??? kind of???

for other stuff, just imagine the most overbearing annoying older brother ever. yeah now imagine he has a latias and yoinks you and his other friend to go flying around and talk about grilled cheese for hours on end. this is the closest you have to a real family and you hate them you would die for them. you are amalgam
