Hospitals rely on usedSoft
After businesses and government agencies the health sector has also seen for itself the potential savings when purchasing used software. More and more hospitals, medical practices and social service facilities and organisations are saving up to 30 per cent on computer programme purchases compared with the original price. The resources they save this way can then be used where they benefit patients. Among UsedSoft's new customers in the health sector are numerous hospitals and practices as well as a major pharmacists' association.
With the Klinik Bad Oexen UsedSoft has now recruited its 150th customer in the health sector. "As part of the modernisation and development of our client structures we have decided to procure the software we need on the used market for the first time", says Karsten Stock, deputy-managing director of the Klinik Bad Oexen, in support of his purchasing decision. "The financial benefits convinced us. When choosing a supplier, we went for UsedSoft. Their advice was proficient, delivery was fast and their invoicing transparent. We are very satisfied and have not regretted our decision."
Used licenses are a low-cost alternative to buying new. "While other products lose their value over time, with used software there are no signs of wear and tear. Its value is always the same", is how UsedSoft CEO Peter Schneider summarises the benefits. "And even though hospitals and charitable institutions are often granted special conditions by software providers, the prices for used software are up to 30% below those of discounted products."
