the application we use for automated regression testing just straight up deletes all logs when the application fails for whatever reason
the logs are generated while it's running! if you look before it fails, you can copy-paste the whole log out and review results!
but if it fails, poof! those logs go away. like oh noooo I can't generate a run result, abandon everything and throw it in the garbage
the application failing is when we need those logs the MOST! WHY ARE YOU DISCARDING THEM?!
