I created bare-bones-but-functional cast and about pages a while back (seen here: the cast’s headshots!), and wanted to put a general progress update as well, so here it is!
First, on a launch date: right now I’m tentatively planning for January 1st, 2019! At this point, I’m planning on doing a Tuesday-Saturday weekly update schedule, but that’s not yet set in stone.
On the website: I’m not actually planning on hosting the comic on tumblr. That’s just where it is right now because it’s free and easy to use, and I wanted the domain up and active before the comic launched to better promote it. Due to the costs of website hosting, I’m going to wait until I’m ready to launch the comic to put up something more functional for a webcomic.
Patreon: I did create a Patreon for SoH, but I’m a huge newbie to the platform and I’m still figuring out how best to use it, so the content is pretty sparse right now, and is likely to remain so until the comic launches (or until I better hammer out what content I want to post there). But there is some Patrons-only content up already, on the off chance that anyone will want to become a Patron before the comic’s even live, lol. I don’t really expect SoH to ever be profitable to me, but of course any and all support would be deeply appreciated.
