WHAT TYPES OF MICROBES ARE IN DELTA'S PRODUCTS?

➡️ Delta uses naturally occurring microbes from the Pseudomonas genus. The microbes were extracted from a once-contaminated site and have been well-studied and understood for decades. Specific strains of Pseudomonas microbes have been chosen because they reproduce rapidly, have an affinity for hydrocarbons, and cause no harm to plants, animals, or people.

🔵 That kind of question is a good opportunity to distinguish our microbes from others.

➡️ The BioLogix-CL microbes cometabolize chlorinated solvents, which means the microbes need a carbon source to grow on because the solvent does not provide much energy to them. We add dextrose as the carbon source. As they metabolize the carbon they produce enzymes that convert the chlorinated solvent into an organic acid that they can metabolize. The only intermediate we have observed is a temporary appearance of chloroacetic acid, one of the organic acids they can metabolize.
