I take very little pictures at concerts, because I've noticed that I need only a semi-decent photo of the whole stage to remember many details from the experience. Soilwork were great, I jumped wayyy too much for that early into the concert, thankfully made the right decision later to sit down in the back for the second half of In Flames's setlist. No offence to them, they were amazing (as were the pits that opened at almost every single song of theirs), but I'm not that big of a fan and my left leg needed some rest after I made a nasty false step during Death Diviner. 😅
Arch Enemy though were somewhat of a rollercoaster. Two thirds into Deceiver, Deceiver the lights on the stage stopped suddenly - the audio was the same, so I initially thought that it was a choreography trick before the last chorus. But no, unfortunately - the audio and the lights in the back were working perfectly, just not the ones in the front. Luckily, the problem was resolved after some time, and the show was a blast! Upcoming single Liars And Thieves, My Apocalypse, War Eternal, Sunset Over The Empire; No Gods, No Masters - I was (don't say in flames, don't say in flames) as if on fire during every song. 🤣 One of the guys I travelled with ended up on the 3rd-4th row during the last songs and managed to catch a guitar pick, so 100000/100 experience overall (he's a fan of In Flames, and I'm super thankful that he gifted me his catch). 😃 Also, there were giant balloons with the iconic pentagram-based sign - I am a sucker for those, so more bonus points from me.
