Kestra says to Soji that she should confide in Picard. Agnes, with her subconscious in control, also says she think of Picard as a father figure. All of them women. It's fucking weird.

I know I'm on Tumblr and there are many blogs devoted to daddy kink, I am not judging anybody, it's not for me but that's perfectly fine, what is weird is that it is made to be the natural relationship with Picard for adult women. It's Soji distrust of Picard that is the final obstacle of the first season, in fact Picard compare Synth to children and says he will teach them by exemple.

I can't help but think of Maggie May Fish analysis of The Silence of the Lambs, where Clarice spend the movie being lead around by older man, and that's frame as the natural way of things. It's a pattern in Hollywood movies.

We take our time getting out of bed, making sure to start our morning off right before finally getting up to make breakfast. It's a lazy saturday morning. No plans, no responsibilities, just us.
