#SOKOTEI - Video : @dswt David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust ・・・・・・・・・・・@elephant_news_network - Elephants have sentience. They have the capability to feel emotion. ENN remembers this story of little Sokotei and his mother's declining health, through natural causes. It's all tied up. Poaching, Hunting, Riding, Training, Performing. Elephants know you are hurting them. Please be kind to animals. Please do not ride or support animal entertainment where elephants or any kind of animals are used. They know. They feel. They are capable of more, they are evolved. @elephant_news_network #ennwecare ・・・・・・・・・・・ Original Post by @dswt #Sokotei has come a long way since we rescued him in early 2014. After his mother succumbed to a prolonged illness, Sokotei was left mourning over her lifeless body. When we tried to intervene and rescue the five-month-old, he bolted into the rainy darkness, leading to a long chase through the wilderness. Two years on, Sokotei has blossomed into a confident and cheerful bull. In July, he took his next step towards a life in the wild when he graduated from the #DSWT Nursery to our Ithumba Reintegration Unit.
