Hi all! I made some overlays to use with @kawaiistacie‘s Slice of Life mod! It’s a fantastic mod with a lot of customization options and I really enjoy having it in my game. She also makes a ton of other mods as well so you should definitely go see what she has to offer!!

!!IMPORTANT NOTE!! I did not create replacements for ALL of the overlays available in the mod, I mostly did this for my own game and I did not feel like all of the overlays needed to be changed for what I was looking for for my own experiences. BUT I wanted to share these for anyone who might want them!

How to Install:

Have KawaiiStacie’s Slice of Life mod installed. It is linked above and she has guides on how to install the mod on her website! If the mod is not installed, you can still use these but they will just be available as CAS items and will not show up in your game as your sim’s mood changes. It is highly recommended that you have the mod installed to get the most use out of these!

Open the “SOL Original Overlays” folder in your Mods folder.

Delete the files that share a name with the ones you want to add to your game (example, if you are adding the KS - SOL Drunk.package file from my download into your game, delete the original KS - SOL Drunk.package file from the SOL Original Overlays folder first.

Replace the files you just deleted with the ones you have downloaded from me. They are in a ZIP file so you will need to unzip them.

You may also want to delete the localthumbcache.package file from your The Sims 4 folder !!

You are able to pick and choose which files you want in your game, so you don’t need to put all of them in there if you don’t want all of them! For example, the drunk blush in particular was made to be a lot more subtle due to me not wanting a harsh blush on drunk sims in my game, so if you prefer the original you totally don’t have to add it!
