Today marks 7 years since Sol Pais traveled from Florida to Colorado and ended her own life all while the FBI falsely labelled her as a danger. Rest easy, Sol, I'm sorry the media is so cruel to you even after you've passed.

sol would have been 25 years old today, february first.
she spent her life in miami-dade county florida. in school, she excelled in english and art. she kept to herself, wore dark baggy clothes, and listened to music nonstop. her favorites were KMFDM, deftones, nine inch nails, and massive attack.
she kept an online diary under the alias “dissolved girl” where she journaled about her mental health struggles and kept scans of her physical notebooks. many of her entries alluded to a vague “plan” or event in which something major would happen. she seemed to leave this intentionally mysterious. in her latest entry, sol wrote:
“i feel like a pot of scolding water on the verge of boiling over… so dangerously close to spilling over.. and what that may cause is yet to be seen and most likely a hazard, to myself and others. i’m afraid of my currently unknown capacity for pain and misery and anger.”
on april 15th, 2019, sol pais was reported missing after failing to return home from school.
on april 16th, the fbi declared that she was a potential school threat after they had searched her computer and belongings. they found countless references and artwork relating to the columbine massacre, primarily of er¡c harr¡s. she seemed to be deeply infatuated with him, and according to her therapist, she saw him as if he was her soulmate.
during the manhunt, police discovered that sol purchased a one way ticket to colorado. and even more concerning, she bought a pump action shotgun at a gun store near columbine high school. schools in the district were all shut down for the investigation.
on april 17th, 2019, sols body was discovered under the snow in the colorado mountains. these are the same mountains that harris’s ashes were allegedly spread. it was revealed that sol shot herself on the same day she went missing, and she never intended to target anyone else.
