knowing i wasted the most memorable years of my life not accomplishing anything is daunting. i’ve been reading elliot’s entries before his 20th birthday and the fear is so so accurate in some ways. watching other people become and do the things you’ve so desperately been trying to imitate to no avail hurts, watching the number go up when i would rather just be dead is also a hard pill to swallow. i’m aware i’m the same person i was when i woke up yesterday, but somehow it feels as if my teenage years left with the little hope and magic i had left buried somewhere within me.
