He buys Will a stupid amount of little gifts, shadow-travels them wherever he wants, buys him roses for Valentine’s, gently strokes his hair as the opening credits of the movie play. The moment they step in public, he’s the aggressively loving boyfriend who pretends to be indifferent but really is quite obvious to everyone just by the way his face softens when he looks at Will.
