i hear your "nico di angelo would study _____ in college" and i raise you; social sciences.

and don't even hit me with "nico di angelo is an introvert no he wouldn't pursue SOCIAL sciences" because clearly you've never actually looked into his character. nico di angelo is such a social person. he talks to everyone, because he wants to HELP everyone-- hazel, bob, beckendorf... COME ON. the only reason he is portrayed as an introvert is because he doesn't like to get close to people because that opens up opportunities for them to hurt him.

social sciences is all about people and how people and societies work and how to thus HELP those people and societies. you can't tell me he wouldn't care about the trafficking in the ivory coast and how big corps and governments enable it to profit off the cocoa industry. you can't tell me he wouldn't care about all the cultural reasons why bangladesh seceded from pakistan. you can't tell me he wouldn't care about positive and negative reinforcements and conditioning the brain.

he LOVES helping people and social sciences is such a perfect outlet for that. i've literally never considered anything more perfect and now i'm so sad i've never seen this idea discussed before.

Guys guess what Nico is actually secretly the soppy, romantic sweetheart of Solangelo, but only when they’re alone. He buys Will a stupid amount of little gifts, shadow-travels them wherever he wants, buys him roses for Valentine’s, gently strokes his hair as the opening credits of the movie play. The moment they step in public, he’s the aggressively loving boyfriend who pretends to be indifferent but really is quite obvious to everyone just by the way his face softens when he looks at Will.

Will and Nico are just watching a horror movie that they heard Percy and Annabeth gushing about (an 18 bc they’re rebels) and Will just squeaks and dives behind a pillow between comments on how unrealistic the wounds are every five seconds and Nico just slowly munches popcorn in a sort of horrified fascination, and he pretends not to be scared and he totally excuses himself to the bathroom or wherever every time there’s a big scare coming up for totally unrelated reasons. Because he’s not scared. Obviously.
