I came up with some more stuff about my species in Spacetumblr. It's not much, but I felt I should post it anyway. Solanians hail from the planet Solana in the Eucreptix System. Solana is located rather close to their "Sun" known as Leiox. Solanians can withstand intense heats, but have no adaptions to the cold. (The Solanians use the lava pits on the surface to bathe in.) The planet of Solana has two moons known as Ventus and Omnus, referring to their Air and Land Gods. When their emotions are heightened (a lot), the Solanians eyes show the colors of their emotions (such as blue for sadness or red for anger) and their pupils turn bright white. When a Solanian bleeds, it's blood shows ancient constalations of which can no longer be seen. Some races of Solanians have tails. These tails are mostly for defense and are detachable. All Solanians are pointy eared and have four arms. The lifespan of a Solanian is about 100,000 Solanian years, which is the equivalent of about 1,000 Earth years. Solanians can also mate with pretty much anything/anyone. Ancient legends and battles have been found to have been written down on the walls of the ruins of Veloria Castle, which was created by the mighty King Scolin hundreds of generations ago. It is said by many that King Scolin was the best leader to have been in power throughout the entirety of Solanian history. The current leader is know as King Grant. He is a cruel, careless, and malevolent ruler who has no respect for others decisions or beliefs. He thinks of men as tools, women as slaves to repopulate, children as future tools, and the elderly as useless. He only cares about power and himself. He got his older brother, Soral, banished just so he wouldn't get in his way. Soral was supposed to be the rightful ruler. Instead, he was sent off of Solana and out of the Eucreptix System, told that if he were to ever be seen in the Eucreptix System again, he would be captured and killed. That is all that I have so far. I may write more later about Ray's backstory. :T
