So I wasn’t the only one wondering why Sanemi had white hair. His brother Genya had dark hair. All their siblings had dark hair (at least the ones who didn’t have shaved heads). And both their parents had dark hair in the manga. How?!
(1/3) YEAH I agree I’ve always wondered that too, like I said I always just assumed sanemi actually had the albino gene! (Like I said I’m not aware if there was a better term! Please correct me if I’m wrong) since he had the white hair, purple eyes and actually I think his eyesight is a little poor as in lacking with color vision? Like how dogs can only see colors much more muted but that may have come from the trauma of when his mom attacked his siblings and what not.
Low key I’ve always always wanted to do a genya redesign for this specific reason because they do have a lot of similarities but I think it would’ve been much more fun to make them look physically alike as, yk siblings do. Because if it hadn’t been for the last name and the way their eyes are drawn I wouldn’t have ever guessed him and genya were siblings yk.
