Dude is the Champion. No way you get to that level of without being a bit insane about battles. I don't believe that man is capable of being normal about anything he likes.

He has a super well balanced team for a reason. He is giving the kind of dude who would minmax ivs and evs. He probably could yap all day about the intricacies of pokemon battles and his favorite matches of all time. Explaining every minutia of each strategy and breaking them apart bit by bit for whoever will listen.
