So I sent an ask to @meanbossart asking how DU Drow would react to someone crocheting him something. Expanding on that, I think Zephyr would be good at making one size of a sweater, and struggle to change sizes (like me), and she uses Drow as a mannequin. The ones that don’t fit him go to the others in the party. Astarion has three.
It's finally done! This comic is for @meanbossart and his Drow. Zephyr begins her journey in BG3 in a place not unlike Astarion, a slave to a horrible cause. When Drow was still his father's beloved, he met her, and she believed he may be able to help her escape.
(In my personal little fanfic brain time, she forgives him for his old ways much faster than the others, often helping cover his ass and offer him ways to improve. She makes sure Jaheira doesn't kill him lmao. Her timeline with him is often redemption, but in those where he takes Bhaal's power or becomes Bhaal's Chosen, she is often heartbroken, and kept around as an accessory to Astarion. Though depending on if Drow is a Bhaalist, she changes. She will actively try to kill Drow if he claims the power for himself, same goes for Astarion if he Ascends.) This piece took. Weeks. That's not even an exaggeration. I started this (checks notes) January 2nd. It's been a little over a month now of on and off work in the midst of starting college! I hope RJ likes it, and I hope I did Drow justice. I drew more than just his eyes in this one lmao.
