The CN Tower and its observatory deck always gets the attention so one fine morning I decided to shine the light on the Sky Pod, standing at a cool 447m high. I positioned myself so the sun rose right behind the pod, and by using a solar filter, I managed to expose properly for the sun. . What do you think? . Solar eclipse 2017 from Southern California. Sequence of events taken between 9:15 to max ~65% totality for this region. Shot setup using Meade ETX-90 1250mm focal length and Canon M2 mirrorless attached to capture the images. I used a 16 stop filter and a Sol Finder to spot and align the scope.
