Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish... Five days on the Deschutes river fly fishing and camping as we rafted 50 miles. I would have been better off if given a fish as I would have starved given my skills in fishing. This was after just finishing our hike on the PCT, barely escaping the snowstorm.
