“I heard you’ve been working a lot lately, don’t you ever stop to eat?” Haneul said while not giving much attention to the other’s face since she has been trying to finish all that work before she could take her lunch break, she hates eating alone and that’s the reason why she’s usually eating at work ot during classes, just having someone’s company means she’s somewhat safe. “You finally got your half day off, right?” When she was finally able to take a look at her friend’s face, an instant smile was formed upon her tiers, it’s been a long time since they don’t spend some time together and Haneul was dead curious to know about the things in YG. “Hey, i just finished this, do you wanna go have lunch with me? It’s my treat and we can have meat just so you know how well paid i’m getting here.”

drowsily opening her sleep-crusted eyes, the other’s words ringing a bell as the thought of food clouds her thoughts. food, ah--- food. there’s nothing jinny wants more than to be able to eat, after hours of waiting for her to be finished. breakfast had slipped quietly during that morning, conjuring indistinct sounds of the stereo as she finished with her morning tasks in the company. alas, she has been granted with a half day, as promised, and she’s going to spend it wisely by going out with a friend. it isn’t every afternoon that she’s able to roam the streets freely, so it’s about time she takes advantage of that now. “let’s do it! i’m so hungry--- i think i just had a dream about roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. that’s how starved i am.”

“Because they asked me to teach you how to play this, and if you don’t learn then we’ll both be scolded.” Solar lets a loud sigh escape through her lips she has been really tired recently with the show and the showcases that has been making the female stay up during nights. And now this, they could have asked to any professor or just send June to some school but why would they pick her? Right, it’s because she has been envolved in so many scandals and they needed to cover it somehow. “I know you’re not enjoying to be here this late of the night but i really can’t help it, i’ll just treat you some rice soup after or coffee? Yeah coffee sounds perfect right now..” She said leaning completely over the piano, her arms sticked forward in a lazy manner.

Learning how to play the piano had always been one of her interests, however never did she have enough time to do so, at least until her CEO told her to learn some new skills. As to cover up her latest dating scandals, she had been told to prepare for a few special stages and such in order to cover up the mess she’d accidentally made, which was entirely understandable-- and a little exciting. The unfortunate thing however, for the other and not for herself, had been the elder had been told to teach her this skill. June particularly felt bad, mostly because she wasn’t too quick of a learner, she needed time and patience and with the late hours in which they were practicing, neither seemed to have any of that. ‘Coffee does sound perfect.’ She responded. ‘Let’s just get to it quickly then.’

and the infamous line slips out so fluidly, as if it was an automated response. “do i look like a high school student to you?” most would say yes. the very little percentage that disagreed had to take a double take before making their decision. for first impressions, there were some that even said that she acted mature for her age, but it was because they had heard her talk first before looking at her complexion. standing at 165 centimeters with a voice that wasn’t too girly but wasn’t so low for her to be considered a boy, yoo hyejung was only a seventeen year old that faced questions like these on the daily. and it would become irritating, to hear the same thing over and over but just on different days. “plus. this place was practically built for high schoolers. a library, for fucks sake.” her whisper was a frustrated one, teeth gritting while the words slipped through the spaces of her teeth. “this is a library. what did y’expect?”

On one of the nights that Jun Young rolls in quite late, there is a party going on next door. It is half past two in the morning and as much as Jun wouldn’t mind a bunch of kids celebrating what he heard to be someone’s birthday, ripping out the AUX cord from his neighbor’s sound system crossed his mind, multiple times. But he knows better and that it would just lead to angry college kids ready to chug cheap beer in his face. He runs his hand down his face and groans. He wants peace and quiet and a bit of relaxation before heading to the gym in four to five hours.

He chooses to just take a quick shower and slide into bed but as he walks toward the bathroom, the music gets louder. Jun feels the beat of the shitty tune pulse with every drop that hits his back. He shuts off the water, wipes himself down, and throws on a pair of jeans. He pops a bottle of beer (the good stuff) and digests a third of it before he hears a thunderous knock on the door.

“Please!” the girl’s voice asks. He makes it to the door in four quick steps, the voice of said girl bursting in with her hand over her mouth. He points to the bathroom he just came out of and she runs in. Realizing her hair is long and untied, he follows her in and puts his beer down in place of collecting her (actually soft) hair. “Do you want a backrub too?”
